Parks and domains
Surrounding the still waters of a pond, the woodland grove at ‘La Maison Blanche’ takes its inspiration from the refined form of Japanese gardens. This refinement resides in the balance achieved between plantations of tall trees and ground-level plantings, and between mineral, vegetable and aquatic elements. A painted wooden bridge invites you to cross an expanse of water where water-lilies flower. Sunlight, filtering through the leaves, becomes a gentle force, and creates an atmosphere of contemplation and meditation in the undergrowth of the garden.
