Parks and domains - Historic gardens
Four squares of turf, gravel paths, and a rounded box bush at each intersection. If the design of the gardens at ‘Château de Coinsins’ embodies a simplified approach to the French ethos of the eighteenth century. The only embellishment is provided by tall horse-chestnut trees that project the shadows of their silhouettes onto the green squares.
