Parks and domains

A path bordered by Annabelle hydrangeas dominates the foreground, while between the kitchen garden and the circular pond, beneath the plantation of tall chestnut trees, a wonderful, welcoming little spot has been created. The wooden chairs and tables, which remain outside all year round, make it an ideal place to meet or simply rest. The ground covering is also understated: beige gravel, regularly raked. The dappled shade provided by the trees renders the light soft. At the perimeter of the plantation, the old box trees have been trimmed randomly, to produce an effect of natural movement.
