The Balexert forecourt
Geneva

Masonry - Surface treatments - Watering - Garden furniture - Pots

In the heart of contemporary Geneva, the Balexert shopping center has recently redesigned and renovated the outdoor pedestrian paving under the canopy and around the site. This project is part of a desire to improve the user experience while reinforcing the architectural identity of the location.

Designed by the Rampini architectural firm, the composition subtly plays with the textures, colors, and cuts of natural stone. The careful layout and rich materials create a strong visual harmony that is both elegant and durable.

On closer inspection, the outdoor flooring naturally extends the interior spaces of the shopping center, blurring the boundaries between inside and outside to offer a fluid and coherent continuity. This symbiosis reinforces the architectural interpretation of the site and accompanies the natural movement of visitors.

Once shopping is complete, seating areas invite visitors to take a break, appreciate the quality of the layout, and contemplate the urban comings and goings. A few discreetly integrated touches of greenery bring freshness and breathing space to this mineral urban space.
