A few tall pines give the gardens of this renowned hotel something of a seaside air. Bordered by lawns, the surround to the pool is composed of a mixture of old and new paving stones. More individual spaces have been created by sinking a staggered row of low, boxwood tables into the paving and planting them with maples or with bamboos where a certain height is required. This asymmetric row of geometric shapes guarantees some privacy for the hotel guests, without isolating them.
