Masonry - Surface treatments
The forecourt and the surroundings of the temple are surrounded by a natural stone covering : the stone finally chosen was a magnificent sandstone exploited in a quarry in Switzerland that had received the "Regional Park" quality label.
The stone can be used as paving stones, as curbstones or as boutisse stones, depending on the application, and as large, thick, milled and flamed slabs for driving.
The appeal of the play of the floor pattern, both in terms of geometry and materiality, is subtle and naturally meets the aesthetic, architectural and environmental requirements carefully studied by the architects.
